Requesting a message from the Lieutenant Governor

The Lieutenant Governor of Québec is pleased to provide written wishes to citizens whose birthdays, wedding anniversaries, or anniversaries of ordination or of the taking of religious vows are being celebrated. He can also extend congratulations to organizations commemorating the anniversary of their founding.

Greetings, wishes and congratulations signed by the Honourable J. Michel Doyon are mailed to persons who have duly completed the form referred to below. Please allow six weeks for processing.

Birthdays
Starting at age 90, and multiples of 5 thereafter
(90th birthday, 95th birthday, etc.)

Wedding anniversaries
Starting at the 50th wedding anniversary, and multiples of 5 thereafter
(50th anniversary, 55th anniversary, etc.)

Anniversaries of ordination or the taking of religious vows
Starting at the 50th anniversary, and multiples of 5 thereafter
(50th anniversary, 55th anniversary, etc.)

Anniversaries of the founding of an organization
Starting at the 20th anniversary, and multiples of 5 thereafter
(20th anniversary, 25th anniversary, etc.)
